"I Don't Know My Name" is a song by Grace VanderWaal that is featured on her debut EP, Perfectly Imperfect. It was officially released on November 18, 2016 along with the pre-order of Perfectly Imperfect as the lead and only single from the EP. The same day, a lyric video for the song was released. VanderWaal had previously performed this song as her audition for America's Got Talent.

The idea for "I Don't Know My Name" came to VanderWaal while she was doing homework. In an interview with Rolling Stone, VanderWaal stated, "It's about how I've gone through so many different phases and styles and friendships, and it's about how now, I think that this is who I want to be and this is what I want my life path to be."
